Returns & Refunds Policy

The Limb Difference Collective Foundation is a small, volunteer‑run nonprofit. Every purchase made through our online shop directly supports our programs for limb difference families. Because our merchandise is produced and shipped through Printful, a print‑on‑demand fulfillment partner, all sales are final and we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds at this time.

We appreciate your understanding and your support of our mission.

Why We Have This Policy

All items in our shop are created specifically for your order. We do not have the capacity to hold inventory or manage returns in‑house at this time. Printful’s fulfillment model - combined with our commitment to keeping resources free and accessible for families - means we cannot process returns, exchanges, or refunds for reasons such as buyer’s remorse, size issues, or preference changes.

Printful only replaces items when there is a production or fulfillment error. For all other situations, they do not offer refunds, and replacements would require placing a new order.

Issues With Your Order

We want you to receive items that reflect the care and mission behind our work. If your order arrives misprinted, damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery so we can help.

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging (if applicable)

We will submit a claim to Printful on your behalf. If Printful determines the issue was an error on their part, they will replace the item at no cost to you.

What Printful Covers

Printful will replace items when:

  • The product is misprinted, damaged, or defective

  • The package is lost in transit (reported within 30 days of the estimated delivery date)

These claims must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the product.

What Printful Does Not Cover

Printful does not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Size exchanges

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Unclaimed packages

  • Sealed goods (such as face masks) that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons

  • Items that were customized or made to order (which includes all LDCF merchandise)

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or insufficient address, or because it was unclaimed, reshipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Address

Printful’s facility serves as the default return address.
If an item is returned to Printful, they will notify us.
Unclaimed returns are donated to charity after 30 days.

Please do not send returns to LDCF’s mailing address, as we cannot process or accept them.

Gifts

All gift purchases are final sale.
If a gifted item arrives damaged or incorrect, the gift recipient may contact us and we will assist within Printful’s replacement guidelines.
