What is Hugs in a Box?

A care package offering comfort and resources for families of children born with a limb difference or have experienced limb loss.

Who can request a package?

Families in the U.S. with a child experiencing limb loss or limb difference can request a package. Medical practitioners, extended family or friends of the family may also use this form to request a package in order to provide for a family in need. We ask that you please get permission from the parents to provide this information. You will be contacted via the email provided for confirmation before a request is fulfilled. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at (630) 403-8076 or info@limbdifferencecollective.org. If you are outside of the U.S. please send an email and we'd be happy to help find the right information for your family.

What’s inside the care package?

The package includes informational booklets, resource guides, and items for the child and for the family.
Because each box is made on demand, contents may vary.

How do I request one?

Is there a cost involved?

No, our goal is to provide the care packages for free to families in need.
If you would like to support our efforts in sending these we greatly appreciate any contributions made through our Donations Page.
