LLLDAM 2026: LDCF & Friends Launch the “Build Belonging” Giveaway

Every April, our community comes together to celebrate Limb Loss & Limb Difference Awareness Month - a time to honor our stories, uplift representation, and remind families that they are never alone. This year, the Limb Difference Collective Foundation is teaming up with our friend and longtime supporter Colleen Hood (@mad4minnie) for something joyful, meaningful, and full of heart: the LLLDAM LDCF & Friends Build Belonging Giveaway.

This month‑long celebration blends representation, community, and creativity, all centered around one small but mighty character: Autumn, LEGO’s limb‑different adventurer who has become a symbol of visibility and pride for so many kids.

Together, we’re hoping to raise $500 to support LDCF programs - including Hugs‑in‑a‑Box care packages, community meet‑ups, and resources that help families feel seen, supported, and connected.

🧱 Why Autumn Matters

Representation in toys may seem small, but for limb‑different kids, it’s powerful. When children see characters like Autumn - confident, capable, and fabulously limb different - they see new possibilities for themselves. They see belonging.

Autumn is more than a LEGO figure. She’s a reminder that limb‑different kids deserve to see themselves reflected in the world around them. This giveaway is a celebration of that visibility and the joy it brings to families.

🎁 What We’re Giving Away

Thanks to Colleen’s generosity, one winner will receive:

• A LEGO set featuring Autumn, the limb‑different character

• A special Hugs‑in‑a‑Box from the Limb Difference Collective Foundation

Both items were donated so that every dollar raised can go directly toward supporting limb‑different families.

💛 How to Enter

Anyone who donates any amount through our Givebutter campaign or through Instagram donations on @limbdifferencecollective @pcwldpodcast or @mad4minnie will be automatically entered to win.

Donations help us reach our $500 goal and support programs that uplift families - but donating is not required to enter.

To enter without donating, simply email your name to events@limbdifferencecollective.org with the subject line “Autumn Giveaway Entry.”

Throughout April, you’ll see something special on our social media: Mini Mack and Mini Colleen — tiny LEGO versions of Mackenzie and Colleen - sharing their adventures, talking about representation, and cheering on our community. Would you like to add your "MINI" to the mix? Tag us! We'd love to share the fun!

We’ll highlight Autumn, celebrate LLLDAM, and help spread the message that everyone can build belonging in their own way.

On April 30, Mini Mack and Mini Colleen will announce the giveaway winner and help us close out LLLDAM with joy.

No purchase or donation necessary to enter or win. A donation does not increase your chances of winning, but is greatly appreciated! Open to U.S. residents age 18 or older. Giveaway runs April 1–30, 2026, ending at 11:59 PM CST. One winner will be selected at random and announced on April 30, 2026.
