Members of the Board of Directors are appointed and elected representatives of Limb Difference Collective Foundation who are responsible for policy formation, governance, and fiscal matters pertaining to Limb Difference Collective Foundation. The Board of Directors oversee all activities and ensure that they remain in line with the organization’s mission and goals. Board of Directors hold a two year term. A full list of expectations are below.
Ideal Candidates:
Are involved in the Limb Loss and Limb Difference community.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are able to collaborate with a diverse Board of Directors.
Have knowledge of or are willing to learn about Limb Difference Collective Foundation's mission and goals.
Have knowledge of or are willing to learn about different aspects of non-profit organizations such as by-laws, policy development, financial responsibility, strategic planning, marketing skills, event planning, and/or social media networking.
Are eager to help develop and improve programs, events, and initiatives that are central to our mission during our interactive board meetings.
Are familiar with the Board Member Agreement (below).

Nomination Process:
Interested candidates will submit applications using the form below.
The Board will review the applications, and they will consider candidates for potential immediate and future addition to our Board of Directors.
As appropriate, they will conduct interviews, bringing recommendations to the full Board of Directors.
The board will take all input under advisement and participate in a final vote.
Applications will remain on file, and all applicants will continue to be considered for open positions as they become available.
